The competition saw the participation of 170 contestants forming 44 teams, representing 8 universities: Princess Sumaya University for Technology, the University of Jordan, Jordan University of Science and Technology, Yarmouk University, Al-Balqa Applied University, Tafila Technical University, Amman Arab University, and Petra University. Major companies such as Wizard Cyber, Cguards, and TechArabi provided support to the event.

The “CBL” and “M0tH3r5h1P,” teams from Princess Sumaya University, won the second and third places, respectively, while the team “G2” from Jordan University of Science and Technology secured the first place.

The closing ceremony was attended by Prof. Ashraf Ahmed, the Dean of King Hussein School of Computing Sciences, Paul Goldney, the CEO of Wizard Cyber, and Ahmed Barghouthi, the Senior Cyber Security Consultant at Cguards.

Prof. Ashraf Ahmed, the Dean of King Hussein School of Computing Sciences, commended the professional skills of the organizing students responsible for developing and crafting the questions as well as the participating students who provided solutions to these questions. The questions presented a series of challenges related to digital forensics, encryption, device penetration, reverse engineering, and various other fields within the realm of cybersecurity.

Student Nizar Daradkeh, the head of the university's cybersecurity club, emphasized that the competition builds upon the ongoing efforts of the club and its dedicated volunteers. In 2022, the club organized a competition where participants were tasked with penetrating prepared devices and systems within a secure environment.
